Guangdong Work Injury Rehabilitation Center (Guangdong Work Injury Rehabilitation Hospital) was established in 2001. It is affiliated with the Guangdong Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security, and the medical supervision and management are under the Guangdong Provincial Department of Health. It is the National Comprehensive Base for Work Injury Rehabilitation, the Rehabilitation Therapist Training Center of the Chinese Rehabilitation Medical Association, the first tertiary rehabilitation hospital in South China, the post-doctoral innovation practice base in Guangdong Province, and a public-funded medical unit in Guangdong Province, Guangzhou City, and Conghua City, Guangzhou. Municipal and Conghua City medical insurance designated institutions, various cities in the province, and many cities outside the province's work injury rehabilitation cooperative hospitals.

The center mainly provides medical rehabilitation, vocational rehabilitation, social rehabilitation, rehabilitation assistive device assembly and other services for workers and other disabled persons at work, and provides preventive occupational health checkups for workers insured employees in enterprises in various places. It is the first in the country to collect clinical, Rehabilitation, teaching, scientific research, prevention as one of the professional injury rehabilitation institutions.
