Shanxi Provincial Rehabilitation Hospital (Shanxi Provincial Rehabilitation Center for the Disabled), founded in 1968, is a member of the Shanxi Disabled Persons Federation. It is the designated rehabilitation institution for the state and Shaanxi Province. "Baby-friendly Hospital" awarded by National Health and Family Planning Commission. In 2010, it was awarded “Provincial Level 3 Rehabilitation Center for Disabled Persons” (one of the five in the country) after joint review by the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, and the China Disabled Persons' Federation.
