Founded in 1949, Hubei Rongjun Hospital has a glorious revolutionary tradition. It is located in Yangjiawan (the intersection of Xiongchu Street and Zhuobao Road) in Hongshan District and covers an area of 180 acres. It is the only public health care unit in the province and is a second-class hospital (second-level hospital). Now it has become a comprehensive hospital directly under the province that integrates medical treatment, prevention, health care, rehabilitation, teaching, and scientific research, which has a large influence in the area from Hongshan District to Donghu High-tech Development Zone. The department set-up is very comprehensive and the equipment is very advanced, and the technical force of experts is strong. In 2010, it has built a first-class outpatient and emergency, full-featured medical technology building, equipped with a star-level hotel-like ward.
